The Billion Award concept is designed by Henriette Birk. The final statue is designed and modeled by the Danish artist Carsten Hansen.



Symbol

The Billion Award - the Jaguar cat, the Tree and the Globe - symbolizes the natural balance that should not be disturbed. The Jaguar roar is the voice reminding us that we must exploit, develop and change the planet with grace.

Nature does not need our help to be beautiful - but we need the help of nature to find a natural state of mind that help us recognize beauty.
